PRODUCTS REVIEW

 So its has been a month and half since I big chopped and I must say the first two week were horrifying. But after tons of reading and research I finally am learning how to deal with the dryness and finding products. I have had so many errors and fails, and some of my favorite just don't work no more. So lets get started with the products.

TRESemme Luxurious Moisture Shampoo

This WAS an all time favorite, my forever staple until I shampooed with it after being natural. This literally dried out my hair so bad after shampooing. I did the mayonnaise treatment before shampooing 2x with this product and stripped my hair too much. The day I big chopped, the stylist shampooed my hair with the same brand of shampoo and it left the same feeling on my hair, so I doubt that my hair likes shampoo. So I think its time to invest in cleansers or give sulfate free shampoos a try. If you know of any, please leave their names in the comment section.

Aunt Jackie's In-Control Moisturizing & Softening Conditioner

I have tweeted and talked about this product on Hairlista during my transitioning and since I am natural. But I am still owning this as staple. It hasn't failed me yet. I love deep conditioning with this weekly. I love the fact that it is super moisturizing as it says. Smells great and I can actually detangle with this in my hair. I have repurchased another tub and once I am out, I will get this product as long as the beauty supply store has them.

CREME of NATURE Kisii Leave in

If you are Jamaican you will surely know this! This comes in a tiny bottle and the jumbo size. Its orange and filled with protein. So if your someone like me who uses mostly moisture this is a great source of protein light enough for every wash day to keep the moisture protein balance. I am not sure if you will find this product in the U.S since its in fact made here in Jamaica.

BEE MINE Bee sensitive serum

I love this moisture mist. I use it every night and morning. I love the ingredients since its mostly filled with natural substances. Its said to be a growth serum as well as moisturizer and sealant and many other uses. I personally use this as a sealer and moisture. I use it last after every wash day after apply leave in and moisturizer, light smell and dark color. I got this from abroad, so if your in Jamaica I cannot say where to find this product. For growth, I am not sure since I haven't done a length check. but over all, its great.

Dark and Lovely Beautiful Beginnings Conditioning Oil Moisturizer

Yes the kiddies moisturizer! I don't know why I got this but I did. I love the smell of this and the consistency. It does moisturize my hair but I have have to use it twice on the nights when I do the green house effect method. It does not have the best ingredients for those who watch ingredients  but it works well for me. I might and may not repurchase this product since they are better out there. but once I am on a budget I will get this product.

Soft n FREE CURL ACTIVATOR AND MOISTURIZING LOTION

At first, this worked but then it stopped. CRAZY HUH?! It made my hair so dry. It just don't work for me so I gave it away. Surely will not repurchase this stuff. I wonder if it was the weather. I just couldn't understand what happened with this product 

WORLD OF CURLS CURLY PUDDING

At first, I hated this product! it flaked and just felt awful. But I found out it does not work well with certain products. So I tried using it by itself and it gave my curls a soft hold. I doubt I will be repurchasing this product because it tends to be greasy, very greasy and can cause build up. I run from products like this since I am in fact a Co-washer.

ECO STYLER OLIVE OIL GEL

This is the first product  bought when I became natural again! and I haven't regret this decision. I love this product, the ingredients, the consistency, EVERYTHING. It doesn't make make my hair super dry. Even my relaxed sisters love this gel. I personally recommend this product. I heard and read the raves about this products and now I am raving about it too. Its a staple. I wanna try the different types but once its eco styler I shall get it. 

As you can see, I don't own a lot of products since I am trying out and see which works for me. and to achieve that, I have to use a product at a time to get my optimum results to give my honest opinions.
