EVERYSTRAND HYDRATING MASQUE REVIEW

If you follow me on twitter, you might have seen when I tweeted of randomly walking in a beauty supply store and picking this up out of curiosity. I have never seen or heard of this brand before, until passing a couple store and seen the tub size on display. I went into one specific store and decided to get the deluxe size.

Yes, I am a product junkie but I am searching for a "Back up Brand" deep conditioner, to save me when my regular beauty supple store is out of Aunt Jackie's. I can't stress how I love that conditioner. Anywho, I couldn't wait on my deep conditioning day to try this out.

My Review

I loved the smell of this product! That's the first thing I noticed when I opened the packet, the pleasant perfume smell. Its not over powering but great. Secondly, I loved the thickness and I did experienced some slip.I got two good uses out of this product surprisingly. The first try, I left it on for about a hour. I wanted to leave it on for 30 minutes but time went by and I did not realize until a hour later. I previously co washed before I applied this product, and after rinsing it out my hair was soft and felt light. I could finger detangle with this product and it applied nicely. The second time, I deep conditioned overnight and had soft the same experience the next day. My only two faults with this product is that I wish it left my hair a tad bit softer after rinsing. Secondly, I did not like some of the ingredients in this product. I am not a major fan of certain chemicals, even though I am not one of those naturals who goes all out and get mostly organic hair product, but I still tend to be picky when it comes to certain ingredients.

Overall, this is a good product, and if you don't mind product ingredients , I do recommend trying. Would I repurchase? MAYBE! Compared to my staple deep conditioner which is the Aunt Jackie's Incontrol softening and moisturizing conditioner, My hair was super soft and unbelieveably moisturized after rinising the Aunt Jackie's out. Which is what I look for in a deep conditioner, not the smell, rave about the product or consistency but how well it moisturizes my hair! Which is why it will always be in my hair stash.
Which deep conditioner is your favorite?

  1. Good review! I've never seen or heard of this brand but I'm glad you had a chance to try it out. As long as your hair was healthy afterwards, that's all that matters right? *remembers that I need to deep condition LOL*
