My Review
I wanted to get another deep conditioner and picked this up in a local grocery store. I saw this brand before and heard great reviews so I never hesitated when buying it, worst its super cheap. I went home, read the instructions, and to my surprise...ITS A LEAVE-IN!! Serve me right for not reading the instructions before buying. Seeing that it says cholesterol, I figured it was a deep conditioner but was I wrong. I was mad at myself and thought about returning it but I said it would not hurt trying it since I already had it and needed a creamy leave-in.
Wash day came and I took a generous amount and distributed throughout my hair. Its of light/runny, creamy consistency and has a light smell. It had a white look when applied, which I hate. I then applied my gel and left it to air dry. The next day, I was surprised how soft it left my hair. So the following wash day, I used it alone and sealed it in with my oil mix (castor oil, extra virgin olive oil and 5 drops of peppermint oil). After drying, My hair is soft as ever! I fell in love with this cholesterol. A little goes a long way, especially if you have have a thinner texture.
The only dislike about this product is that it contains Parabens! And reading up on these ingredients, their side effects are far from good. These side effects are one that makes me think twice about repurchasing. If the ingredients change, I think I will repurchase but I rather be safe than sorry.
As mentioned, I love this product but two ingredients are making me stray from it. If you are a person that does not watch ingredients but love the results, I think its worth a try!
If you have a great creamy leave in, feel free to leave suggestions below in the comment section!
Until my next post..
XO Kellz
