I have always had acne problems, and trying to control it was always an issue. I tried many products and most did not work until I tried the St. Ives brand and Spectro Derm. The first thing I tried was their scrub. The type I first tried I don't remember the name right now, but the one I mostly use is the Blemish Control. I am also using their moisturizer over a month now and I am in love. So let's get started in the review!

St.Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub

Product Claims: America's 1 scrub with 100% Natural Exfoliants deeply cleans pore and helps stop breakouts before they occur.

Directions: Moisten face with water. Dispence product unto fingertip and massage over face. Rinse with water. Avoid direct contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, flush thoroughly with water. For best results use 3 to 4 times a week.

My Review: I like this scrub. It does helps with breakouts, it leaves your skin smooth and refreshed. When I use this product, it feels like it gives my face a deep clean and removes dirt and blackheads from my pores. I use every other day and I leave it on for couple a minute like a mask even though that was not recommended. 

Its consistency is rather thick and and a little goes a along ways. Its smells nice too, not over bearing. I will definitely repurchase and recommend this product for persons with sensitive skin like mine. It does not further irritate your face if you have a mild breakout. Its really inexpensive and lasts a long time.

My Review:  I love this moisturizer! This is the first time I am using this product. Previously, I was using Shea butter on my face which is incredible.  Its is inexpensive and effective. My face was dry and irritated because I had nothing using on my face, since I was out of my Shea butter. After cleansing and exfoliating, I followed up with this product and it left my face feeling soft and re moisturized. After a week of using this, my face is visible smoother and softer. Its consistency is light weight but creamy.  You get a ton of product in this 10oz jar and a little goes a long way! It does not leaves your skin super oily and has a very nice fragrance. This is a definite staple in my skin care regimen and I recommend you trying it.

My Review

This is an amazing cleanser! It does not sud/ lather and has absolutely no smell, but it cleanses the face gently. I love this because its is super moisturizing while many cleansers tend to strips the skin of moisture. This replenishes moisture and leaves faces soft. Its consistency is of light gel, and spreads easily. A little goes a long ways. I will definitely repurchase this, once I can find it. I wear make up, and once I wipe off the excess make up, it further removes all make up and dirt remaining. Its amazing and I too recommend this product for daily use.

I keep my skin care routine extremely simple. I don't try alot of product since many can be irritating!
